What happens if I miss a SmartPay payment?
If you miss a payment, Smartpay will immediately pause your account and you won't be able to buy anything else through Smartpay until your due payments have been settled.

To become a GSA SmartPay Purchase card/account holder, your personal credit history is not criteria for receiving a purchase card/account. In addition, use of the purchase card/account will not affect your personal credit history.
Refunds are applied starting with the last payment, working backwards to earlier ones. Once the merchant has issued the refund to Smartpay, this will immediately be reflected on your Smartpay account. Any funds will be transferred back to the card that was used to pay.
