Bus to Tunis

Bus line 35 and bus line 635 run every 30 minutes from the airport to Tunis Marine Bus Station in the east of the city centre. The bus station is close to the Avenue Habib Bourguiba in the centre of Tunis. A bus ride takes 25 minutes, the price for a single journey is approximately 1.00 TND. Public transport to and from the airport is operated by Transtu. Unfortunately, Tunis-Carthage Airport is not connected to the extensive metro network of the capital (Metro léger de Tunis). You do have the option to change to metro lines 1 and 4 at metro station Tunis Marine. In addition, a train runs from here to La Goulette and La Marsa, this service is known as TGM Tunis-Goulette-Marsa. The most used metro stations in Tunis are Place de la République (city centre) and Place de Barcelone (Gare de Tunis railway station). Please consult website Transtu for more information.
